Presented by Friends Of Harrison Park, Inc., this exciting community event returns for its 5th annual race, inviting participants of all ages and experience levels to enjoy a memorable morning outdoors.

The race takes place at beautiful Harrison Park, where runners will begin on the park’s scenic crushed gravel paths before heading onto the paved streets of historic Ellijay and looping back through the park to the finish line. The unique course offers a mix of natural beauty and small-town charm, including a memorable finish through the park’s iconic barn.

Whether you’re chasing a fast time, enjoying a relaxed jog, or walking with friends and family, the Sasquatch Strut 5K is designed to be welcoming and fun for everyone. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, overall masters male and female, and first-place finishers in five-year age group divisions, giving runners of all ages the chance to compete and be recognized.

Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 AM, with the 5K starting at 8:30 AM, creating the perfect way to kick off a spring morning in Ellijay.
