Hops & Huff 5K

Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or enjoying a relaxed run with friends, this event offers the perfect mix of energy, community, and celebration from the starting line to the final toast.

Held in the heart of North Georgia and hosted by Cartecay River Brewing Company, the Hops & Huff 5K brings together a love of running and locally crafted beer. The race features a flat and fast course through Ellijay, making it ideal for competitive runners looking for speed as well as walkers and casual participants who simply want to enjoy the experience.

After crossing the finish line, the fun continues back at the brewery. All registered 5K participants receive one complimentary pour to enjoy after the race (participants must be 21 or older to redeem). It’s the perfect way to cool down, celebrate your accomplishment, and connect with fellow runners while soaking in the lively post-race atmosphere.

For those feeling competitive, the race also offers plenty of opportunities to take home honors. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Female Overall finishers, along with recognition for Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters divisions. Age group awards will also be given in five-year increments from 10 & Under through 80+, ensuring runners of all ages have a chance to compete and be recognized.
