Theater is coming to downtown Ellijay! Opening this winter is the new Apple Mountain Art Center. This theater is being opened by John Christian who has been running arts organizations in Cobb County for over 20 years. The theater will have a 180 seat auditorium, a 24 foot movie screen, a dance studio, a fine art studio, a portrait studio, and rooms for lessons in art and music. There will be a gallery with art and antiques for sale along with a full concession area serving ice cream, coffees, and other tasty treats.
A Christmas Carol will be performed by the Apple Mountain Playhouse on December 10, 11, and 12, 2010 at Ellijay Elementary School. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday evening, 7:30 PM and Sunday matinee at 3 PM. Call 706-502-4292 for more information.
