Run For The Son 5K 2026

The Gilmer Christian Learning Center invites you to celebrate a special milestone at the 20th Annual Run for the Son 5K Fundraiser! This exciting community event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters for a morning of fellowship, fun, and meaningful support for an important local ministry.

Whether you’re an experienced runner looking for a great race, someone who enjoys a relaxed walk with friends, or simply a supporter of the mission of the Gilmer Christian Learning Center, the Run for the Son 5K is a wonderful way to get involved. Every registration and every participant helps support the work the center is doing to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and families in our community.

There are several ways you can take part in this year’s event. You can register to run or walk the 5K, become an event sponsor, or even sign up as a “Phantom Runner.” Phantom Runners support the fundraiser by registering and making a contribution without actually participating in the race—making it a perfect option for those who want to help but can’t attend on race day.

Participants and supporters of all ages are welcome, and the event is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community while supporting a meaningful cause.
