Annual Georgia Apple Festival Parade

Join us as we celebrate all things Apple & Ellijay!

The Georgia Apple Festival parade is a fun-filled, family friendly tradition of the Georgia Apple Festival. The 2022 parade theme is “Mountain Life”, and it will feature floats celebrating life in the mountains. Joe Sewell, Gilmer Chamber information specialist and longtime Apple Festival setup coordinator, will be grand marshal.

The parade will start on Sailors Drive, then head down River Street, around the town square and conclude at Ellijay Elementary School.

Local businesses, groups, clubs and organizations can still sign up to be in the parade!
