Cartecay Wine Run 5K

Like Running or Walking?  Love Wine?  This race is for you! 

Join us on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 for a super fun event that features the amazing hospitality and scenery of Cartecay Vineyards with a breathtaking backdrop of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, and amazing wines produced by locally grown Cartecay Vineyards’ grapes! Please Note:  This is a very hilly course.  It is very suitable for walkers and beginners, but does have some challenging spots.  This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.  Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com. 

Due to the popularity of this event, Start times will be available between 8:30-10am in order to maintain social distancing and accommodate the large crowds.  Please select your desired start time during registration.

COURSE MAP

The Race Starts and Finishes at the Winery!  This course has some challenging inclines and declines, but the epic views may take your breath away more than the challenging inclines.  Walkers and beginners are welcome to attend the event, but please be aware that this course includes several very significant hills.  This is a 2 loop course, so you will have the option to call it a day after 1.5 miles and head over to the post race party if the hills get you.  **Please tell our timer if you cross the finish lap and only complete 1 loop**  Please note:  weather or course conditions may result in a change to the race course.
