Pantomime – Children’s Theatre Workshop Series

This is the last in our Spring series for Children’s Theatre Workshop. These workshops will have prepared your child to get the most out of our Summer Drama Camp and be ready for auditioning for productions coming up. OVERVIEW
Students will explore how to communicate with their bodies by exploring elements of physicality
and pantomime. In this lesson, students will explore how to communicate with their bodies by
working with body language, posture, and physical characterization. Through activities and
performance, students will explore how to pantomime objects with consistency and use
exaggerated resistance and emotion in the performance. This lesson culminates in a final
pantomime performance that students will prepare.
