Looking for something to do in Ellijay this holiday season? The perfect small-town holiday celebration, Light Up Ellijay is a time for the community to gather together to celebrate the start of the holidays.

What to expect:

• Shop local vendors on Broad Street starting at 10am
• Meet Santa in the square from 2-5pm and then take photos with Santa at the Gilmer Arts Playhouse from 6-9pm
• At 5pm the tree lighting ceremony will begin in the center of town and carolers will be caroling as we light the tree!
• The Christmas parade will begin at 6pm following the tree lighting ceremony complete with festively decorated cars, floats and more!
• To end the days celebrations, Abby’s Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt will be hosting a dance party from 7-9pm on the corner of south main street!

It will be a day full of fun and holiday spirit for the whole family! You won’t want to miss it!
